bbc.co.uk – Trade data from the world’s second largest economy, China, came in well below expectations on Monday, heightening fears of a sharper slowdown. China’s exports rose 4.7% in November from a year ago, compared to market forecasts of a 8.2% jump. Imports fell 6.7% in the same period against predictions of a 3.9% rise. Read more>>
bbc.co.uk – Japan’s economy shrank more than initially estimated in the third quarter of 2014, according to revised gross domestic product (GDP) figures. The economy contracted by 1.9% in annual terms from July to September, well above a preliminary reading of 1.6%. Read more>>
