bbc.co.uk – EU watchdogs plan to take action against Google by this summer over the web giant’s current privacy policy, French privacy regulator CNIL has said. Since March, Google has been combining data from across its sites to potentially better target adverts – which regulators see as “high risk” to people’s privacy. Read more>>
bbc.co.uk – US online retailer Amazon’s pricing policy for its third-party traders in Germany is being investigated by antitrust authorities. A clause bans traders signed up to its Marketplace platform from offering products elsewhere for cheaper – including in their own online shops. Read more>>

bbc.co.uk – Egypt’s telecoms ministry has refused to block access to YouTube and has filed an appeal to reverse a court order asking it to do so.
