Sarah coaches and trains companies on how to boost their international sales through digital channels to GROW GLOBAL. She is author of the Amazon UK #1 bestseller ‘Grow Fast, Grow Global: 6 steps to unstoppable international growth in the digital age’.
She is one of the world’s leading experts on digital export. She regularly speaks at seminars and runs workshops about optimising websites, e-commerce, e-marketplaces and s-commerce for international trade.
Sarah is a regular speaker on the subject of optimising your website, e-commerce, e-marketplaces & s-commerce for international markets and has presented at seminars and workshops for the Department for International Trade, UKTI, Invest NI, UKTI Asia Task Force, the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Surrey Chambers of Commerce, Brighton & Hove Chambers of Commerce, the Federation of Small Business, the Institute of Directors and the European Union Make It Global programme.
Sarah is regularly asked to talk on the subjects of international and digital for global banks HSBC, Barclays, Santander and Nat West. She was a guest speaker at Google London on the subject of digital export, as well as a panellist at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development E-commerce Week in Geneva Switzerland and the African Union E-commerce Conference in Nairobi, Kenya.
Working with the UK government trade promotion agency on the former Export Communications Review programme, Sarah worked with over 500 companies. She developed UKTI’s best practice methodology for the international website review and international web optimisation masterclasses and has rolled them both out nationally, training over 1,000 companies. She carried out two national roadshows for UKTI featuring the international e-commerce workshop and launched the latest masterclass on how to sell on international e-marketplaces, which was premiered with Invest Northern Ireland.
Sarah previously worked for over 10 years for global management consultancies Accenture and Deloitte as a global programme manager. She is also the author of the audio language and cultural learning courses: Teach Yourself Business French, Teach Yourself Business Spanish, Teach Yourself Business Japanese and Teach Yourself Business Mandarin Chinese, which have sold over 10,000 copies worldwide.
Sarah has lived and worked in Europe and the USA. She speaks English and French, some German and is learning Spanish in recognition of its emerging role as one of the next world languages.
Sarah just loves learning languages and is very concerned about language death of some of the most vulnerable languages on the globe, which is occurring at a faster rate than the loss of plants and animals in the world. Just maybe, keeping the younger generations in their communities by engaging in digital commerce could keep these languages and cultures surviving a little longer.
